Students will continue to draw their self portraits using the grid method. Friday students will add a creative background to their portraits. Backgrounds can have added color with colored pencil, but must show value. Students will choose 1 area of their portrait to add color with value.
Students will continue to carefully draw out their grids following the step by step instructions in their packet.
Thursday students should be ready to start drawing the first section of their self portrait starting with their heads. They will use their view finders and line them up according to the coordinates on their photo.
Friday students will continue to draw line and shape that they see in each square of their photo.
Students will complete the Universal Beauty Challenge in their sketchbooks.
Friday we will begin creating our grids for our self portraits.
Welcome back! Students will be working on a sketchbook assignment Thursday and Friday using watercolor paints and other materials.
